As a partner of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, Buddy develops its sensing hardware and health intelligence alongside world-class R&D infrastructure and mentorship. It keeps the collar, app, and AI advancing as one system, not three disconnected parts.
Through a research collaboration with Lingnan University's Office of Service-Learning, student research teams studied how local owners actually make care decisions. Their findings shaped how Buddy earns trust: sensor-collected data first, veterinary credibility at the core, and only the features owners told us they would genuinely use.
